Rental Information

You can reserve the Cabezon Community Center, Gazebos in the park, and specific grass areas in the park for your upcoming event, function, or meeting. Rentals operate on a first come, first served basis.  Please note that City of Rio Rancho sponsored programs and events are given priority over outside rentals.

50 (Multi Purpose Room), 30 (Gazebo), Varies (Park Areas)

Damage Deposit (Refundable):

Ranges from $250 to $500 

Rental Fee:

  • Multi Purpose Room: $100 first 2 hours, $100 per hour thereafter (Includes 40 chairs and 6 tables).
  • Gazebo – $100 per gazebo first 2 hours, $50 per hour thereafter.  
  • Lower Field – $200 first 2 hours, $100 per hour thereafter.
  • Park Areas – Price is dependent upon size of area needed.

Notice Needed:

All rentals must be made a minimum of 4 weeks in advance.

Due Date:

Rental application, damage deposit, and rental fees are all due at time of reservation.

Rental Reservations

To reserve a rental, simply complete the Rental Application and send it via e-mail to mtorrez@rrnm.gov or drop it off in person at the Cabezon Community Center located at: 2307 Cabezon Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  If your event falls under the category of a “special event,” don’t forget to include a Special Events Permit as well.

All requests must be submitted at least four working weeks before the event date.  Expect a response within three business days of application submission from a member of the Cabezon Community Center staff.  Should you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out at 505-892-4499.
