Cabezon Group Creates Online Training Tutorial
Cabezon Group has created an interactive tutorial to effectively advise Peer Reviewers when evaluating FEMA grant applications. Information includes program requirements and expectations. The module presents slides of information, requires review quizzes and at the end of each section. Peer Reviewers' scores are added to FEMA's scores to determine if applicants are allowed funding.

Cabezon Group Works with FEMA to Produce Guides for Emergency Responders
FEMA is currently working to update the National Incident Management System (NIMS) doctrines and called upon Cabezon Group to manage the expeditious adjudication, editing, formatting and packaging for publication of the Incident Command System (ICS) Forms. In just four months, Cabezon Group completed the work and exceeded FEMA's expectations.

Cabezon Group Aids FEMA in Grant Review Process
Thanks to Cabezon Group, 2,450 technical grant evaluations for the Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program were completed on time. Using a Web-based program, application reviews were entered in real-time. This created a smooth transition into the next stage of the grant review cycle.

Education Support for Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
The National Fire Academy (NFA) turned to Cabezon Group to assist in a fast-turnaround revision of 42 student-and instructor-friendly courses in the EMS curriculum.

National Credentialing Working Group
FEMA linked arms with Cabezon Group to help to facilitate a national working group of experts to make recommendations about implementation steps, basic guidance and outreach efforts, and improve the number of people qualified for interstate deployments under the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
